Jan. 26, 2009 - New Access Control System - this is big news and will be a major improvement to the club! The executive has just approved purchase of a new access control system for the club that will be installed in the coming months (tentatively scheduled in conjunction with our new membership year which starts on April 1st). Each paid up member will have their own key (something called an I-button that looks like a key fob) and a personalized PIN code that allows him/her to access the building (that means no more having to go to Jug City to get a key!). Accesses to the building will be automatically recorded so that we know who has been in the building and when. Sorry if that sounds like "big brother", but it is required for security and safety! Jan. 01, 2009 - Squash Ladder - a squash ladder is now available at the club. Contact Jim Winn at 457-1234 for all the details and to to included. It's a great way to meet other members and arrange a game. May 22, 2008 - Court floors have now been sanded and lines have been re-painted. Roof repairs have also been completed (we hope). Let us know if you see any signs of dripping. We think we have the problems fixed. April 13,2008 - re-finishing and re-painting of both courts has been completed! The new bright white colour is a "sight for sore eyes". It looks great! Re-finishing of the floors and fixing roof is next on the agenda. February 28, 2008 - work on refurbishing the first court has begun. Mike Irwin is the man in charge. Please contact him at 457-1641 if you are able to volunteer to help out on this project. We will not hear for 3 or 4 months if our application was successful. Minutes of Meeting - June 14, 2007 June 14, 2007 - Membership Meeting/Brainstorming Session at the club June 1, 2007 - just received news today that we have received a grant from the "Local Initiatives Program" of the Haliburton County Development Corporation (HCDC) for $2000 to help towards necessary renovations and improvements at the club.
